A friend who has always believed in my doodling nonsense (and a fellow cat-lover to boot, if that wasn't obvious) asked if I could design a festive Raya card featuring all her children. And by all her children she also meant her army of cats. Several drafts were made, not because she was a tough client, but rather because she became a granny to 6 newborn kittens in the process, of which 1 sadly passed on to kitty heaven. So yes, there was that whole "Where the heck do I fit in 6 more cats?!#@$#$%$#@#@!#!" followed by "Aww so sorry to hear your kitty didn't make it :( Now lemme work out how to erase one while not messing up the card." (Honestly though, I was sad the little one didn't make it.)

This is my first (and hopefully NOT my last *fingers crossed*) professional doodle job. It came around by sheer luck...a friend of a friend of a friend of a cousin (no kidding) happened to be looking for someone to grace his company's wall with doodles, and the friend of the above-mentioned cousin (you with me so far?) persuaded me to take on the job. I finally relented as Decembers are normally slow months for me at work anyway. Of course I was nervous as I've never quite doodled for anything larger than an A4-sized paper, but I was also curious to see where this job would take me.

The doodle consists of 4 walls, measuring 113" x 502" in total.
